Bush: nothing without Daddy. Does Bush have Korsakov's Syndrome?

Chronic alcohol abuse can affect:

intellectual functioning: lack of judgement, significant memory problems, vague thinking, obsession and disorientation.

emotional functioning, moral and social conscience: indifference towards responsibilities, degeneration which may lead to criminal acts.

Memory and judgement problems are the result of vitamin B1 deficiency in the most severe cases (Korsakov's syndrome), or as a result of the direct toxic effects of alcohol on nerve cells.

Korsakov's Syndrome, resulting from chronic alcohol abuse is irreversible and leads to short term memory loss. It sounds a bit like Alzheimers.

Remember that disasterous press conference Bush held in the White House? He stumbled on the easy question of what he regretted or might do differently and he couldn't answer it.

On a less important basis, this could be the cause of his bushisms. Much more importantly, is he as mentally unstable as people think he is because of longterm and irreversible brain damage?

Lots of people thought Reagan was suffering from dementia....they turned out to be absolutely CORRECT.
