May 12 my cable modem gets installed. I called April 27 and there was a free installation that ended the end of April. As long as I ordered before May 1,I get the no charge installation. The room I have my computer in has a cable outlet I am not using and I said I still wanted to have the option of connecting a TV to the cable in this room. They said no problem,they would split off another connector at no charge. GTE is the phone provider in my county and the cable system was installed last year by Lucent for GTE. The old TCI cable connections are still in the walls. My next door neighbor is connected to TCI which is not a state of the art system here. Fred
