mark, Yes, there are intelligent people in all parties. But, to maintain their power base, the Democratic party panders to the people on the bottom rung of the ladder. On my previous post, I should have added special interests to the list as well. Tell me, why does anyone want to identify with the Democratic party unless they need benefits or special protection under the law due to a perceived imbalance in their own social condition?
