Lone Star, AMAT's market cap is currently something like $15B. If the stock price were to appreciate 40%+ per year, that would mean the stock would double every two years. ie in eight years, a market cap of 120B, in ten 240, etc. At some point you hit a wall, regardless of the strength of the company; at some point the restraints of the industry kick in, regardless of AMAT's position w/in the industry.
