JFD, CNNfn President Lou Dobbs will resign from the network after butting heads with CNN U.S. President Rick Kaplan, Dow Jones reported. The wire service cited "people at the cable network."

I cannot see how someone would make him president in the first place. I guess CNBC is kicking butt.
I just hated his anti-Microsoft approach----he would smile ear to ear when a bad report was aired. I just stopped watching their trial coverage. The reporter (forgot his name) and the other host Jan Hopkins were just as bad.
They had extended Moneyline (remaned Moneyline Newshour) to 1 hr with the first half of news. You could tell that Lou did not belong there doing news interviews.

BTW--WE don't get the Bloomberg channel (nor do we get CNNfn---only CNN newschannel is available. ----CNBC is the only game in town up here) in Canada so I have not compared. I would say CNBC does a pretty good job on balance.

I just hope he does not join CNBC. Maybe he should go to MSNBC. <g>
