I'm a long time Macintosh user and love elegant user interfaces. However we all know what happened to Apple's edge in user interface . . . plucked away by Windows.

Yep. Of course, Mac plucked it away from Xerox, so I guess what goes around comes around.

Actually, even though I liked the Mac and used it for many years, the Apple II was much better for tinkering around, loved the memory-mapped graphics and how you could peek and poke around. Never got used to the interrupt-driven PCs.
