Darfot,

I'm a moving average guy. I love moving averages and I can't imagine trading without them.

The key to moving averages is to get out when your favorite moving average is breached ... "BUT" ... it's equally important to get back in when the moving averages firm up.

I don't play gold but, the moving averages were correct in telling you when to get out, also correct on telling you when to get back in.

I don't know why people procrastinate about getting back in.

The OSX is no different. The moving averages indicated selling earlier this week, they will also confirm when it's time to get back in. It's up to us to determine whether we do it or not. It's not the indicators, it's us. It's how we react to the moving averages that determines our level of success.

All in my humble opinion, of course.
