SAMSys Technologies Announces Senior Auto ID and Security Expert Steve Hall as Vice President of Sales and Marketing
DURHAM, NC, Jan. 7 /CNW/ - SAMSys Technologies Inc. (SMY:TSX-VEN) ("SAMSys"), an international provider of radio frequency identification (RFID) hardware solutions and consulting services, today announced the appointment of Steve Hall as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Hall, formerly with Peak Technologies has joined SAMSys to increase sales, reinforce the company's commitment to its VARs, and develop the company's marketing presence in the RFID industry. "I am pleased we have been able to bring Steve into this position within SAMSys," said Tres Wiley, SAMSys president and chief operating officer. "His years of experience in the auto ID industry, sales management, and marketing will enable SAMSys to grow rapidly in the coming year, matching the expected growth in the supply chain sector due to the EPC initiatives of Wal-Mart and the Department of Defense." Hall brings over 11 years of senior sales and marketing leadership from both the Auto ID and Security industries. His most recent position was Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Peak Technologies, a leading VAR in the Auto ID industry. Prior to Peak, Hall was Vice President of Sensormatic Electronics Corporation's commercial division, now known as TYCO, leading both their direct sales and channel sales teams for their access control, CCTV and EAS products.
