Vion Pharma Files 5M-Shr Shelf Registration Dow Jones Newswires WASHINGTON -- Vion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (VION) filed a registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission Tuesday to offer 5 million shares of common stock. According to the document, the biopharmaceutical company will use the proceeds, estimated at $21.6 million, for working capital and general corporate purposes, including for potential acquisitions of additional technologies and compounds. In a press release Tuesday, Vion said it has no current arrangements to sell the shares.
