Matt, I do remember Al Dharsee; as much a gentleman as Chan Everett- I really enjoyed talking with him.
I could not make the Hartville Kitchen meeting myself! I was in the middle of a trial in a little town in southern Ohio and could not take the time.
The people in the group are more futures oriented; one of them, Howard Miller, has been trading futures [commodities] for 35 years; he started out traading potatoes back when they traded potatoes. He swears by XTL and flatly does not use anything else.
I have two GET scans now- a wave 5 using 21 day XTL and autochannel breakout from primary pivot, and a type 1 trade with autochannel breakout from primary pivot and 5-35 oscillator must pull back at least 101 %; this is so the Elliott trigger will have meaning.
I also use AIQ closely with GET, and ProSearch to populate the AIQ initial cut- pure David Vomund growth stock selection process. It kicks out about 2-6 good candidates a week. EQR was one I had never heard of about 2 wks ago; did not buy, tho.
I am all cash now, fully recovered from being $30,000 in hole, largely due to good profits in INTC and VTSS. I am too busy for daily work on stocks, and am going to buy a few large caps- MRK, CCI, RIG, CSCO and the like. Then I'll look at them once a month or so, in AIQ to see if holding above 28 week MA.
And I still like XLNX and IPEC extremely well. As you know I was in them both for a long time, and made my money back on IPEC recently by using XTL to get in at 16 and sell at 19. It was classic entry and classic exit on channel break. And MOB was sitting right on top of 19, too.
GET is the best investment software in the world- period.
Good hearing from you. Missed you at our Xmas party this year. Andy was there. Keep in touch.
