KUWAIT: The Arabian Construction Company held a presentation this week at the Crowne Plaza Hotel together with the International Chinese Company ZTE for communications. The event was entitled "World Leader in Total Telecommunications Solutions and Systems." "The Arabian Consumer Company is one of the leading companies in telecom field and has been in that field since 1963. It made many successful projects in the wireless sections in Kuwait, by the communications in microwave, and the light fibres," disclosed Wahid Selman, the manager, Professional Services Telecommunication Department.
The presentation gave ZTE solution for the fixed network. Through modernisation of the exiting network, better services can be provided and less operation cost can be achieved by the use of ZXJ10 advanced switching systems. In the second part of the presentation, the solution with soft-switch concept for evolving the current network to the broadband multi-service next generation network was discussed.
The ZTE is capable of providing various integrated network solution for Metropolitan Service Provider MSP, Internet Service Provider ISP, content Service Provider CSP, and Application Service Provider ASP. ZTE data network products can provide the solution for data network from access layer, converge layer to backbone layer. These network solutions enable service providers to fulfil pinpoint control of networks, implement bit-level-based accounting, and provide not only bandwidth but also multiple high-class services.
The CDMA technology with smooth system upgrading and flexible network application, as the most advanced technology. CDMA has been widely used in world mobile and WLL telecommunications. As a strategic partner of Qualcomm, ZTE is offering CDMA2000 1x system in 450MHz and 1900MHz bands, and both mobile and WLL application in the world. In China in year 2001, ZTE won the bid of 10 provinces CDMA mobile networks in China Unicom and 97 per cent marketing share of WLL in China Telecom. In the international market, ZTE has established partner relationship with Kazakh Telecom in Kazakhstan. Tele-card in Pakistan, MCC in Russia and Reliance in Egypt, etc.
ZTE is now participating in projects in PT telecom in Indonesia, Telefonica America Latino, and BSNL in India and in other 0 countries in East Europe, Africa and Asia. Furthermore, ZTE has given a live demonstration of its CDMA 1x EV-DO technology and exhibited in 3G CDG Congress in Hong Kong that supports up to 2.4Mbps data transportation.
