Brian--I am in your camp. This doesn't make sense at all. The quarter is young. April is "typically" a slow month. IMO, I think Intel made these announcements for reasons other than letting its shareholders know that there might be a 5%-10% shortfall in revenues. We won't know until we know. But, I'll tell you somthing--a lot of people lost a lot of money in the past few days. Should Intel's announcement prove to be wrong, one (not me) might have a pretty good argument for a suit. to manipulate stock prices.

These past few weeks just don't ring true.
