You had lots of recommendations on your post. I kept waiting for more discussion from others on what you wrote about.I know Armstrong forecast it is down hill for the next 8 years and it will take until 2032 for a recovery. The debt is a given and everyone knows it will never be paid off. I have read that one of the only ways to move forward with success would be to collaspe the debt and reduce taxes so that businesses could have the resources to start hiring and take risks in starting new businesses (increasing money flow). It would also allow people to purchase products versus money being used to pay interest on the debt.... in addition right now the money is leaving our country for Asia and other parts of the world. Can you imagine what it will be like in a couple of years when we have lost status as the reserve currency? What money we do have is going towards Home Land Security, FEMA, Military.... We produce very little and decent jobs are gone.
I'm amazed that the past two weeks the top topics on our national news channels on down to local levels have been about the mother in florida that is charged with killing her daughter 3 years ago and about Wiener and his sexual escapades. Total distractions from what we need to be dealing with and what is happening around the world.
What are your thoughts on what we should be doing? How should we move forward?
