You are correct. The estimates were .57 + 1.07, now changed to .53 + 100. I plan on owning Ampex in Dec. 1998, and with a PE of say 20, my stock will be worth $20.00 ( had to get my calculator out for that 1 ). I'll be a happy camper on James island, can't afford the Villa yet, and that's if KM doesn't make a nickel. To the option player, wouldn't it be better to write naked puts at 7 1/2, you have 1 5/8 premium plus the time value. We do ( or think we do ) have support at these levels. Covered calls have some value, but then you lose the stock. When Greenspan raises the rates next week, but only 25 basis pts., and the market has corrected for more, this and many other undervalued stocks will recover.
