You need to understand the definition of miracle.

Credit whom you will but I can personally top that miracle with my life. I had an Aortic aneurysm burst. In the resection operation it was found grown to the colon requiring blood to my lower body to be cut off too long resulting in amputation of both legs. In cutting from the colon they punctured the colon and didn't know it. It brought on kidney failure, lung failure, colonostomy, 7 operations in 10 days and laying in a coma on dialysis, a breathing machine thru a tracheotomy, for 7 weeks.

My family was advised there was no hope for recovery and prepare for a funeral for when the pulled the life support I would be dead in 3 days or less. The funeral was arranged and they pulled the support. A few hours later I regained consciousness and started a slow recovery.

That was 13 years ago. Doctors say I am a miracle. It's only because they do not understand cause & effect of my recovery. I don't think it was a miracle as much as a determination to get better because I preferred to live rather than the consequences. I didn't wait for God to act. I worked hard as hell exercising in therapy.

Doctors are not always correct in their diagnosis.

To prove to all my fear of burning eternally is zilch I have donated my body to Vanderbilt medical school for research and training doctors. After they complete their use of the body it it cremated.

Although handicapped by no legs, I still drive, shop, and am pretty self reliant. I get amused at people watching me get in my car with that amazed look. Will power is the power of God in me. Call it miracle if you will but I know better.
