Morrie, I am refering to the H&S formation with the left shoulder in January 97 at about $12, the bottom in April at about $7 and the right shoulder in July at about $10. This is one of the most clear cut H&S bottoms I have seen since I got into technical analysis twent years ago. The heavy volume that accompanied the breakout 8 trading sessions ago confirmed the genuity of the breakout.
I am also leraning candlesticks these days. I understand the hammer is not a major reversal signal. The two hammers on Thursday and Friday may be foretelling the weakness we may see tomorrow on the earning report. But, I will stick to the technical analysis that says a pull back to the H&S' Neckline (at $15-$15.5) would be absolutely normal and a good buying opportunity. My faith in technical analysis will be greatly shaken if AMTX showed much more deteriration that that.
