Williet - Re: "...is this a well conceived drubbing orchestrated by INTEL themselves to cool down the price prior to the split date? I would appreciate your views."

I don't subscribe to the popular Oliver Stone "Everything's A Conspiracy" deal.

Intel had a fiduciary and SEC obligation to report significant changes in their business outlook in a timely fashion. Yet you and a few others look for evil and wicked Machiavellian explanations for Intel's management doing what they are supposed to do.

If you truly believe that Intel's management has deliberately made their business announcements in order to manipulate their own stock, then I suggest you sell your Intel stock immediatley and invest it in another company in whose management you have more confidence.

You obviously don't seem to trust Intel's management to do what they are supposed to do in the best interest of Intel employees and shareholders.

By the way - make sure you invest in a company whose stock ONLY goes up and NEVER goes down. Otherwise, that management may also be in cahoots to manipulate its stock for their own purposes and to personally defraud you.
