On the contrary nuke44, I've spent an abundant amount of time abroad in third world nations and am not a passifist, but I do NOT believe in the unwarranted use of force as we (NATO) are currently doing to Yugoslavia. As for me being "naive" and "ignorant" of the "dangers" of Milsovec I can only pitty your lack of reasoning ability to understand the full future consequences of our actions. Not like a typical jack-ass that want's to go in with "guns blazing" yelling "we'll teach those pricks a lesson" as you have portrayed. Let me restate that this mess is NATO's. NATO had Milosevic at the table but failed to diplomatically resolve the issue (period). May I remind you that N Ireland was finally resolved with diplomatic means so there is no reason why NATO couldn't have solved this one.

I supported the use of force against Iraq since it was in our national interest and because Iraq brutally overtook another Sovereign nation (Kuwait). National interest in this situation does include control of oil production, but more importantly controlling a megalomaniac bent on using chemical and nuclear weapons to destroy the world. A little different that a Dictator expelling people from a region don't you think ?

WRT to Dean Wormer he's right ... that's no way for you to go through life nuke44.
