Mega gold bull Weiss Research issues sell on Gold! "Sell TGLDX (Tocqueville Gold Fund) at the market at the close of trading today." "I want to let the dust settle from the recent pullback in gold and gold shares. As soon as I see the right buying opportunity, rest assured I will send you an alert, pronto!" -quote from Larry Edelson of Weiss Research 9-19-06 In his alert, he sure put an interesting SPIN on this SELL GOLD alert considering he just loaded us into the boat at much higher levels. This is the SAME Larry Edelson who just said gold was going to $2176 (his 1980 dollars inflation adjustment target) and that the Chinese ETF was going to send gold soaring. Funny how the same pundits who pumped us up that Central Banks like China and Russia would be buying gold and causing it to soar past $2,000, now blame Central Bank SELLING for its collapse? I'm getting too damn old for this. Slider I don't short, so I wont follow you there, but please just slap me upside the head when it REALLY is the time to buy again. I'm going to go take a nap. You really got me thinking with your comments about Don Coxe's commentary. It read- SELL GOLD and ENERGY stocks, but then at the end- he told us to hold on tight. You called it "cover" for the institutions to exit while the little guy held the bag. I think you nailed it Slider. The pundits all pumped gold and oilstocks to the moon over the last couple months and the institutions sold the shit out of it and WE were left holding the bag. TIA, Ron
