Yes, technology may progress but because of competition, profit margins would be small.

Profitable investing in technology stocks is extremely difficult. The odds of success are like 1 in 200. But coming out of a tech stock mania, I can understand why this is something that's very difficult to believe. Only time can teach the lessons.
