Milt- I also bought at 4 3/16. The high volume we're seeing must mean some big money going into Ampex. I don't know if their DST sales or the anticipation of this "keepering technology". One thing did strike me- there was a news release last week about a company called Your Choice TV, I'd assume they'd need a very large and very fast digital storage system.

BETHESDA, Md.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--April 26, 1996-- Your
Choice TV Friday announced an agreement with Tele-Communications Inc.
(TCI) whereby Your Choice TV will package television shows with TCI's
Digital TV service.

Under the terms of the agreement, Your Choice TV has been
appointed as TCI's agent for securing, packaging and promoting
time-shift offerings of certain television products.

Your Choice TV (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Discovery
Communications Inc.) is a venture designed to provide consumers with
convenient access to popular television shows produced by the
world's leading content rights-holders including ABC, HBO, PBS,
Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, National Geographic,
Children's Television Workshop, BBC Worldwide Americas, Court TV and
others.

Described as "time-shift television," the potential consumer
response to television shows which viewers missed the first time
around could be enormous, according to media analysts.

"TCI's Digital TV product will provide an additional variety of
new, high-quality programming services to our customers beginning
this year, and we're pleased to have Your Choice TV a part of our
Digital TV offering," said Camille Jayne, senior vice president,
Digital TV for Tele-Communications Inc. "Through our comprehensive
digital package and the strength of TCI's headend in the sky (HITS)
delivery system, TCI's customers will have more choice, control and
convenience in their home entertainment."

"TCI's investment in the National Digital Television Center in
Denver has made the digital television revolution a reality," said
Nancy Stover, president and chief operating officer of Your Choice
TV. "TCI's revolutionary HITS service will enable cable systems
across the nation to introduce a digital world of viewing to
millions of viewers."

Your Choice TV has proven consumer demand for time-shift TV
through a rigorous three-and-a-half year, eight market, in-home
research program involving almost 12,000 consumers spending real
dollars for the service.

The company has gleaned unprecedented insight into what programs
are purchased during specific days of the week and day parts. Your
Choice TV and its programming model will be used to maintain a
consistent PPV revenue stream across all days and day parts.

"Customer demand for more television variety and greater
accessibility to favorite hit programs will certainly be met by
digital television," said John Hendricks, chairman and chief
executive officer of Your Choice TV Inc., and Discovery
Communications Inc. (DCI).

"TCI's Digital TV menu will offer shows from Your Choice TV as
part of a highly flexible and economical entertainment package. One
of the earliest cost savings to consumers resulting from the digital
revolution will be the economic purchase of what might be termed the
electronic videocassette," Hendricks observed.

Your Choice TV is a wholly owned subsidiary of Discovery
Communications Inc. (DCI), a privately held, diversified media
company headquartered in Bethesda, also operating businesses in
multimedia, home video, publishing, merchandising, retail stores,
mail-order catalog sales, international program syndication, and
theatrical and large-format film production and distribution.

DCI's ownership consists of four shareholders -- Liberty Media
Corp. (Nasdaq:LBTYA), a division of Tele-Communications Inc., Cox
Communications (NYSE:COX), Advanced/Newhouse Communications and John
S. Hendricks.
