All Mike wanted to do for his b-day was stay home. I was in the middle of making dinner, when our 9 year old came in the house with blood gushing out of his finger. He had cut his finger on a piece of glass that was in the trash he was taking out. So much for staying home, it was then off to the emergency room for stitches. The hospital is about 30 miles away...in the same town where Mike works, so he met us there. Then we all had a lovely dinner at Chi Chi's. We took Mike's gifts with us, and had him open them there. All in all, in spite of the finger and stitches...it was a good night!!! smiles Jane
