Mucho's argument <if you really want to discuss these things, you need to look at what the other side is saying and not just caricaturize their arguments. specifically, i'm talking about the arguments Greider was making.

you seem to think that if anybody criticizes Greenspan, they are taking no responsibility for their own actions. i believe that is not the case. in order for the bubble to happen, it was necessary for many people to participate. but it is unfortunate that one of those who drank the kool-aid was Greenspan.

of course, if your purpose is not to really discuss these things, but just to promote your "Mindless Zombie" thread, then perhaps you are taking a reasonable approach already

Umm. Not much there to support the case that Uncle Al was the creator of the bubble. Which is typical of those who blame him.

Mucho's suggestion is that Uncle Al drank Kool Aid - well, how can one argue against such a reasoned position? I suspect also that Mucho was calling me a mindless Zombie, which is of course a really good argument to show that Uncle Al caused the bubble. It's hard to argue against such logic.
