How about voter rights?

The voters of Washington State voted to limit license tab fees to $30.00 two years ago. One of our esteemed liberal judges reversed that vote. The Legislature in one of their more lucid moments reversed his ruling, by making it state law. That move was strictly to protect their butts. They knew we would throw them out if the left was allowed to overthrow a popular vote. The irony? Our tabs still aren't $30.00. The legislators, in their infinite wisdom, have added all sorts of little "fees" to our annual renewals.

There is another initiative being developed that will limit license tabs to $30.00 period. No fees, surcharges ect......We should see that on the ballot next spring. Think of all of the millions being spent to defend an already approved voter initiative. Who is forcing that expenditure? The Washington State democratically led congress.

In another case of tampering with voters wishes, Washington state voters overwhelmingly approved a terms limit initiative. Guess what! Yep......It was thrown out by another liberal judge. That one stuck.

There are politicians on both sides of the isle who will stoop to any level to get their way including stepping on States rights and individual voter rights.

The right to die issue is an important one that needs to be debated on a national level. Mr. Ashcroft (the man the left is extremely afraid of and literally hate) is bringing this issue to the fore front, and rightfully so. Dont' forget that it was the liberal left that brought the issue of abortion into the national arena, and rightfully so.

Shouldn't ALL Americans hear about and be able to discuss this very serious issue? One that could affect all of us. Or is the liberal opinion the only one that counts in your world?

but ya see "states rights" only count when it's something the Republicans believe in.

You are obviously a very biased individual.
