LAS VEGAS, April 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe announced plans to deploy the IGT Advantage(TM) Casino System to replace legacy systems in both of its Minnesota properties, Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley.

A combined total of nearly 4,000 gaming machines will feature the NexGen® Interactive Display, allowing for greater player communication through its multimedia touch screen. The NexGen® displays, combined with IGT's industry-leading marketing and patron management applications, create a powerful marketing toolkit enabling both Grand Casino properties to further differentiate their successful players' club program.

"The Grand Rewards Players' Club was created around our players. The IGT Advantage(TM) Casino System gives us the tools to build on that foundation," said Robert Allen, Corporate Director of Slot Operations for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe. "The Grand Rewards Players' Club was named 2004's best players' club in Minnesota. With IGT Systems as our technology partner, we expect to take our players' club to new levels of player excitement with unmatched customer service."

"The Grand Rewards Players' Club at both Minnesota properties is a great example of an excellent marketing program in the casino industry. We are excited with their decision to replace their legacy system with the IGT Advantage(TM) Casino System," said Richard Schneider, President of IGT Systems. "Our best-in-class gaming system technology will undoubtedly aid Grand Casinos Mille Lacs and Hinckley to further differentiate their properties and players' club beyond the limitations of their legacy systems."

The deal also included ticketing to over 3,100 gaming machines, slot accounting, Visual Slot Performance(TM) analysis tool, and several system interfaces including an interface to Mikohn's Table Link(TM) system.
