You've hopefully found no ramblings of tariffs from the LP to date. It would surprise me. Tariffs are absolutely anathema to the liberal (Libertarian - I'd like to take the word "liberal" back) principle of protecting free markets for individual citizens to enjoy trading in. The notion that we should be the worlds police force is a notion which is roughly held by many libertarians, in the sense that say, WW2 history convinces them that we'd have been in a world of hurt had we delayed our full participation based on under estimating a threat which hadn't reached our soil (Hitler).
