Ken:

General Credit (LOAN, LOANW) went public in May and the IPO tanked. However, the company reported pro forma earnings of $0.11 per share for the six months ending 6/30/97. With a market capitalization of about $7.4 million, this stock looks ridiculously cheap.

The company is in the unglamourus business of check factoring and purchasing credit card receivables. I expect them to be profitable in the quarter that just ended and to show good revenue growth over the second quarter.

The stock looks like it may have turned around last Friday.
