Bush Senior is in charge, along with the same cohorts from the Reagan and Bush I years.
The wealth they and their nominees are accumulating is vast, and rapidly increasing, in direct proportion to their control of the public treasury and direction of the American military and energy policy. It is in DOD related stocks and petroleum deals.
The Clinton disaster was a Republican disaster, since it showed how unprincipled the vast and powerful group of media controllers are. It was a disaster for the Republic, since it threw attention away from policies and onto the Republican's fascination with the president's sex life.
I didn't vote for Clinton, and wouldn't. But the "loyal opposition" didn't exist, even in theory. The opposition was disgusting and unprincipled, and not worthy of respect. Nothing was accomplished but a waste of time. Which, actually, is better than what is happening now...
The election of Cardboard Boy is another example of what a laughingstock the process has become around the world, but especially in this country.
He's an idiot. Be fun to drink with, but that's it. It's the others who are in charge.
But you are a loyal American, while I question your judgement, I salute your loyalty and high-minded phrases. That's at least a start. |
