Some BIOS setups allow you to set a password. Setting a password at the BIOS level should prevent anyone from starting your PC without a password. You can edit your BIOS setup by pressing a special key when your computer first boots. The key that you press depends on your particular BIOS. Watch the screen when you first power up your PC. There should be a message telling you which key to press in order to activate your BIOS setup.
