Int'l Speculator says buy sell or buy Anatolia

2006-10-31 20:12 ET - In the News

The International Speculator in its Oct. 2, 2006, issue says sell or buy Anatolia Minerals Development Ltd., officially "Take profits/Buy on weakness" at $3.77. The newsletter said buy six times between September, 2001, and April, 2006, at prices from 40 cents to $3.84. A $1,000 investment each time is worth $22,997. The Speculator's editor, a world-famous gold bug, makes things clear as mud on Anatolia. He gets it both ways on Anatolia without having to say the dreaded "sell" word. He begins with his much-repeated idea that Anatolia has done a great job of advancing its flagship Turkish property, Copler, toward production. Ditto its "strong cash position" and "reasonable share structure." Also dispensed is the old notion of taking some of his subscribers' investments "off the table." After perusing Anatolia's news releases for both the good and the bad, what bothers the editor is production risk. The editor says he fears Anatolia might find itself in "serious trouble" making the transition to production. If that happens, "we're heading for the exits pronto." Fellow letter writer Brien Lundin of the Gold Newsletter, also made profits on Anatolia. He said buy in April, 2003, at 58 cents and in Feburary, 2006, at $2.75
