Thanks again. That URL stepped me right through eliminating the login box and password.

The SystemLock program seems to work only after the computer is booted. There is no entry for it in "msconfig". It has a screensaver (seems to be Windows), but it is manually activated after I lock the screen... which is obviously after the computer is running. It would be great to have it activate (with the program in lock mode) on bootup so I didn't have to leave the computer running all the time. Don't know if it can be done since it has to be locked manually (clicking on lock with a password). Any ideas?
