In June of this year, AndeanGold (AAU-V) completed 2,053 metres of diamond drilling on the Urumalqui project. Assays from the drilling are expected in September.

AndeanGold arranges $500,000 placement

Aug 22nd 2013 - News Release

AndeanGold Ltd. has set up a non-brokered private placement for the issuance of up to 10 million units at a price of five cents per unit to raise gross proceeds of up to $500,000. Each unit will comprise one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share of the company for 18 months at a price of 10 cents per share. All securities issued in the private placement will be subject to a four-month hold period from the closing of the private placement. Completion of the private placement is subject to regulatory approval.

The company will pay finders' fees with respect to the private placement, in accordance with applicable securities laws and the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.

The proceeds of the private placement will be used principally to finance future exploration programs on the company's Urumalqui project in Peru, option payments and for general working capital purposes.
