Del, I read one analysis which postulated that people who claimed they had been abducted by UFO's were really men and women who had been sexually abused as children, and were having breakthrough memories of the abuse come up, which were so disturbing that they created UFO abduction stories to cover it up, all subconsciously, of course. We wouldn't want any real feelings to get out, or anything!! I don't know if this is true, but the study did take groups of people who claimed to have been abducted, and analyzed their backgrounds and psychological profiles.
