Simply, yes. Enbrel is the injection one, the tumor necrosis factor alpha inhibitor, the one that's $12,000/yr. Arava is pills, they call it an "immunomodulator," whatever the hell that is, and it's $2,800 a year. I think Remicade is injection, too.

Saw in the paper that researchers are getting good results using interferon b for multiple sclerosis, also an auto-immune disease, that attacks myelin sheath. These guys are working hard, makes me feel hopeful.

Funny thing is today I feel pretty much ok, although that is subject to change without much notice, it seems.
