You're right! 16% growth is a much more accurate picture of growth. This is the core business that will be compared to next years figures. This is the momentum behind the numbers that, if sustained, will determine next years numbers.

If ignored, then when analysts add the growth within the peripheral side of the business next year as Apple rebuilds its peripheral strategy and you've got another series of quarters with strong upside earnings surprises.
