Dear Lew:
There is the perception in the medical community that once lung tissue is damaged that it can never be restored to its original elasticity. I do not know exactly what Dan's condition is, and really its no concern of mine. All I do know is that God knows and he is looking for a few people that will agree as to touching Dan's condition that we have the faith , and knowledge , and belief that God will do as we ask of Him. I have that belief. I know you do also.
And let me add one thing. God never said you have to believe beyond every doubt, beyond every measure. It's the object of our praise and worship, in the person of Jesus Christ that will even give us the belief that we need.
Its like this . I just returned from Kings Dominion amusement park. I rode almost every roller coaster there. ( funny---Kings Dominion---exactly what we have here isn't it. )
Sure I knew there is a one in a million chance that a malfunction could happen but I trusted in the Lord to keep me safe and still let me have fun. The point is that I still got on all the rides, the Anaconda, the Hurley, Grizzley, the Rebel Yell, then went to Busch Gardens and got on Appollos Chariot , 225 feet high reaching speeds of 85 mph.
But isn't it crazy how we as a secular people , and nation will take every chance we can with drugs, sex, porn, fast cars , planes, whatever; but when it comes to God, we will not take the chances we need to be taking, Lord Lord, it should be engrained in us by the time we realize that worldly chances have no odds of fullfilment, or joy or happiness; or maybe , just maybe, by the time people turn to God, we are cynical by then, and are tired of taking chances so we dont do anything.
Forgive me for rambling. But maybe , just maybe, Dan will have to make a big decision soon. A chancy decision !! God knows......In Christ. gregor |
