What were they trying to achieve? Test the resolve of the US? Try gaining more intelligence on its intentions? Wait for the trade war to backfire and impact DJT administration? TJ? :-) It did not work for several reasons both parties support the US position US economy did not tanked Change in the US Congress composition in mid term elections did not impact US position. All the above has just emboldened the DJT administration.
