No, of course no one would have sex with a little three year old. Jesus was specific against injury of children leading to worse than drowning, but Jesus did not speak against fornication, did he? He used adultery as applying to married people's sin against the single flesh that a man and woman become when wed -- of course he didn't endorse free lovoe of married people, but he never said that two men or women could wed, did he? Why did not the commandment speak against fornication if it was to be forbidden? No, I think Jesus was not a puritan -- he was not wed, what stain was it for him to love a woman or a man. The woman was taken in adultery, not prostitution like Magdalen or fornication like Mary his mother. Make friends with low company he said -- and so he did. There's no impurity in loving a whore or a nonintact virgin (who under the old law, and as a cousin of Elizabeth a Levite herself would have had to be stoned if she was offered in marriage). There's no impurity in having carnal love for someone not married or otherwise forbidden by the Law.
I love to reason with you Nancy - - you are so full of Christian love which at its truest is loving love indeed.
