Customer service is probably going to morph into something else. Companies are having to adapt to the limitations this virus has put on everything. Amazon has eliminated it completely. That’s thousands of employees whose jobs have probably been eliminated permanently.

In a case like yours where the problem can’t be solved on a website, too bad. They’ll just have to expand their menu options to fix problems if they want to keep their customers. And all you can do is hope it gets resolved.

The list of options when you call a business now is pretty interesting. I had to call CitiBank about my Costco credit card and a charge I didn’t recognize. I don’t remember all of them, but an example is: (Paraphrasing) “If you can’t make a payment because of hardships from the CoViD virus, press 1.”
