<<Is there any consolation that RAS market share was lost to COMS and not CSCO given that regaining market share from CSCO would be more difficult than regaining market share from COMS ? If ASND management
felt that loss of market share in the 3rd qtr was an aberation wouldn't ASND management be far more aggressive in their forward forecasts? (I do realize they do not want to be mauled by the analysts for being overly aggressive in their forecasts).>>

The Dell'Oro report only came out yesterday, per MS. Therefore ASND
does/did not know they are reported as losing market share. I think this is an aberation, but will be played up to COMS short-term advantage.

ASND is purposely being conservative in their forward forcasts because that is what they got dinged on in Q3. I think the "plan" is to let the numbers do the talking - which means we stay under $40 longer than I originally thought (barring buyout).

I believe the numbers WILL talk loudly in 1998 and ASND and ASND long term longs will have the last laugh here. Great accumulation opportunity if one plans on holding most of their position for a few years, as I do.
