Symm had video servers in the carrier class(Docsis 3.0).

SYMM tried too hard to sell QoE but not video servers for cableTV and telcos. QoE is the quality assurance of video servers. Hardware makes money if software is reassuring. But to sell more hardware, you also have to have media content readily available for sale. Many on-demand channels are from media businesses, magazines, newspapers and TV and cable channels.

Thomas had to rethink how SYMM will sell their products? The more media business, the more they need video servers to upload their content into on-demand video servers of cableTV and telco triple play services, as well as hospitality business for their media contents.

Next step is to upload data via GPS satellites from SYMM video servers to cableTV and telco triple play SYMM servers(atomic clock server product line).
