I agree that a purchase at 3.5 is a good deal, I'd had the limit order out there for about a month or so, was beginning to doubt it would ever be exercised. Just wish I had more to buy with. I was aware of the barrons article, we'd had some discussion on it over at the Triby thread. By Murphy's standard Quidel is a great buy at 3.5.
