At 1700 lines per inch, the Kopin display is mighty high resolution.

I'm fairly impressed by the QVGA display in 0.24"....presumably, the image size will be optically enlarged so that the eye will perceive a display a few inches across. Perhaps this display will be built into wearable computing/communications devices. A little later we may see something like Microvision's (MVIS) virtual retinal display (VRD) in similar roles.
