Kerry Implosion
For nearly a year, while Democrat presidential candidates demonized one another and collectively demonized the president, relatively little effort was made to reply.
When anyone would complain, the ''left'' asserted ''freedom of speech.'' Now that things are getting a bit closer to the election and billionaire atheist, virulent anti-Christian George Soros is spending millions to advance his evil agenda through his chosen puppet, the political left finds it offensive to the first amendment that patriots have begun even the slightest push back.
When Al Gore said of the president, ''He betrayed America,'' the left cheered, but when, in fact Swift Boat Veterans who served with Kerry, and others point to the indisputable betrayal of America by John Kerry, they scream ''foul.'' What else is new?
In a recent statement, Senator Kerry called on President Bush to demand that attacks on him by a group of Vietnam Veterans and Swift boat Veterans for Truth, cease. Kerry asserts that the attacks have increased because he is climbing in America’s understanding of his ''superior'' ability to fight the War on Terror.
If Kerry really believes that, it makes some of the best political humor this writer has observed in his lifetime. In fact that belief is more humorous than Clinton’s famous: ''I didn’t inhale'' or ''I didn’t have sex with that woman,'' by ''several'' standard deviations.
Whereas Bill Clinton was a ''relatively'' harmless sleazebag during Vietnam and subsequent years, Kerry was vicious in both. If Kerry is serious about his ''demands'' of the president to call on those who are impugning his character to stop their attacks, Kerry would demand that those who attack the president cease theirs. In fairness, Kerry distanced himself from a recent ''moveon.org'' attack, but would or will he demand an across the board cessation by the Soros funded left? We’ll see.
Mr. Kerry is demonstrably a political if not personal schizophrenic as evidenced by his constantly changing and conflicting statements, explained away by Kerry’s psychobabble. One thing is certain, Benedict Arnold would be proud of him, just as a contemporary batch of ''turncoats'' are proud of him. |
