Pfriend, well here it is,I am not sure if its still active,it had a short shelf life. 1-800-633-8284 use code: 4486138 But I covered most of the issues, and took extensive notes, and also interjected a few of my thoughts into the post from the conference call. To me it sounds very encouraging, the analysts were trying to nail them down as to when they would be profitable again, this quarter or next. Tony would not succumb to this, but he did say they have already booked a lot of sales to TCI. How many sales are booked this quarter, and whether new products just beginning production like the scalable optical node will be profitable soon is in question. He did say they have DWDM systems ready to ship at a moments notice, fully operational, and are sending teams of engineers to cities with TCI to find out what products to ship, and the best way to build the system with the current architecture. It looks to me like DWDM is going to be profitable very soon, and margins will be fairly healthy, about 40%. As to New Media they have many, many trials undergoing, with few concrete sales, and the margins will be lower for them. If they can turn profitable this next quarter, which I was hoping for this quarter, then there is clear sailing for next year, and I still think when they do,they can get earnings of at least $1 over the next 12 months. Its almost a shame they bought New Media,it seems like they are struggling with the purchase. Well the bottom line is top line, can they get revenues well over 20 million next quarter,if they do,the earnings will come. It all depends on how fast the cable companies upgrade. Canada is non-existent right now,and there biggest customers were there. China,UK,Europe, and the US as pulling them along. Tim |
