MSI, Technology can clean up the sulfur emissions and particulate pollution, but can do nothing about the massive amounts of CO2 emissions. Coal is about 75% pure carbon. Maybe Cheney has consulted with some alchemists to do something about that, and that's why he doesn't want to reveal who was at the energy meetings.

It has been correctly said that our auto manufacturers put 200 lawyers to work fighting efforts to increase m.p.g., and the Japanese put 200 engineers to work on increasing m.p.g. The engineers are a lot cheaper too. The wrong wing prefers to fight efficiency also.
