Cliff,

I think the prudent and sensible course is to invest in several ADSL plays and not just Amati. I have had a significant position in Amati since early 1996, and have, more recently, been loading up on Westell and Pairgain. I think these three will get more than their fair share of the upcoming contracts.

It's not all going to be Amati DMT. So it's prudent to spread out your investments over several companies with good contract prospects.
