If Exponential got their product out on schedule and had a price point that was competitive with MOT then there may have been a reason for Exponential's existence.

Lets not get carried away, Apple has to make sound business decisions, after all bad fiscal management got Apple into this mess in the first place! MOT chips are fast as Exponential's and are getting faster at a cheaper price.
