I found the Leap Options page and I see I can sell Juniper Jan 04 (strike price of 7.5) puts and get $2.45. I know nothing is guaranteed, but don't you think the odds are in my favor that Juniper would be higher than $7.5 per share
by Jan 2004? That's a long time from now. Does anyone think we would be on the road to recovery by then?

If I sold 10 contracts of Jan 04 (7.5) for $2.45 each, 10 x ($2.45 x 100) = $2450. If I get assigned it will cost me $7500 for 1000 shares of JNPR. I like Juniper as a company long term and don't mind owning it.

What does everyone think? I'm kind of just thinking out loud.
