Charles,

<< I anticipate a cost of production under $200 per ounce with a net profit of $150. This cuts the 30,000,000 to 6,000,000 ounces a year to make it worth the $500. >>

I too have calculated various share prices ....some much higher than 500.00/share - but it gets to a point where it almost does not matter anymore.

While I find the scientific dialogue going on in this thread interesting, it TOO is mostly just speculation .... in many respects a much more learned/erudite type of speculation - but nevertheless speculation just the same. What I find particularly interesting is - it is very clear that even the best and the brightest can make some wrong assumptions. We have seen many of them correct/question the others assumptions a number of times. This is _not to suggest that this type of dialogue is inappropiate or not helpful, because that is not the case at all. I am sure that many here, including myself, find it very rewarding and interesting. But it does serve to point out that WE ARE ALL (from the most learned to the novice) MAKING ASSUMPTIONS AND SPECULATING - WE ARE ALL GUILTY ..... what the hell else can we do. The reality is - neither Zeev (obviously a _very learned man with good intentions), Bill Jackson (ditto), myself, you, CL, nor anybody else _really knows where this is all leading .... perhaps it _is down the garden path .... perhaps it is down a yellow (gold) brick road .... who really knows.

And ......as long as my jaw is flapping <g> ....another aspect of the discussion that I find rather funny is this compelling need by some people here to warn the "widows and orphans" of the risk. I suspect that these same "widows and orphans" would very likely be putting their money in some other risky venture - with an equally high (or higher) chance of losing their money..... if it were not IPM - it would be something else.

There is one thing that I think we can ALL AGREE ON ... few stocks have generated as much speculation/discussion/emotion as this one <g> Enough rambling for now ..... I _really do wish the best to us all - those with - and those without IPM.
